Ain't No Sorry at Museum of Modern Art
October 29, 2008
Article's tools:

The Ain't No Sorry exhibition at Warsaw's Museum of Modern Art was conceived during a seminar at the curatorial studies course at Cracow's Jagiellonian University.

Ain't No Sorry is the result of months of research and fieldwork at fine arts academies, film schools and artist studios all over Poland. Eight curators reviewed the work of the 300-odd young artists who have little in common apart from being "out of the loop." Each has a take on reality quirky enough to save the exhibition from thematic conventions. The curators have made every attempt to discover new methodologies within the structures of artistic institutions, "unlearning" their habits and the methods commonly used to stage exhibitions. Conceiving the project during a seminar in the new field of curatorial studies and staging the exhibition in a recently opened museum were the key project parameters.
