Hard rock legends Uriah Heep are coming to Warsaw to play at the Progresja club Nov. 5.

The British group, playing since 1979, took its name from a character in the novel David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. The musicians are sometimes jokingly referred to as "The Beach Boys of heavy metal." Uriah Heep are famous for their melodic songs and trademark harmony backing vocals, but their music also draws on hard rock, heavy metal, progressive rock, jazz and even country.

Nov. 5, 8 p.m.
Progresja, 15a Kaliskiego St.
Tickets cost zl.80, available at www.ticketpro.pl
