The 10th Belgian Days in Poland will take place Nov. 12-18 under the motto "Belgium Closer to Poland."

The event will open with a press conference at the Belgium embassy in Warsaw Nov. 6. The ambassador of Belgium to Poland, Jan Luykx, and his wife will attend the event, which is being organized by the Belgian Business Chamber, an organization that brings together Belgian companies and Belgians working and investing in Poland.

As part of the 10th Belgian Days, the Polish cities of Warsaw, Cracow and Katowice will host business and cultural meetings aimed at promoting knowledge about Belgium in Poland and at establishing closer business contacts between companies from Poland and Belgium.

Poland has more than 200 companies with Belgian capital. These are mainly firms from the financial, pharmaceutical and logistics sectors, for which Belgium is particularly well known. Members of the Belgian Business Chamber include Kredyt Bank, Warta, Fortis Bank, UCB Pharma, Solvay, and Fast Group.
