The Polish Professional Women Network (PWnet) and the International Association for Human Values (IAHV) organized a seminar for Polish businesswomen Oct. 25 at the Dr. Irena Eris Institute in Warsaw.

Participants at the Siła Kobiety (Woman's Power) seminar learned how to fully develop their potential and master time management skills. They also had an opportunity to take part in personal development workshops. They learned about practical exercises to manage thoughts and emotions, special breathing techniques to regenerate the mind and nervous system so as to maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm and to develop creativity and intuition in business, and interpersonal communication exercises.

The seminar was conducted by Monika Dębicka, director of Achieving Personal Excellence (APEX) in Poland, a program set up by IAHV. APEX organizes stress management seminars for managers of corporations and governmental agencies. These teach people natural and effective ways of realizing their full potential.

PWnet is an organization that groups businesswomen from across Poland. It offers networking help, a professional development forum, facilitates the exchange of valuable information and best practices helping women to derive satisfaction from professional and personal life. PWnet organizes regular meetings for its members with leading Polish businesswomen, panel discussions and training workshops.
