The Gruba Ka¶ka ("Fat Kate") building on Bankowy Square, long one of the most popular places to eat in Warsaw, is reopening after a general overhaul lasting almost six months.

Pizza Hut opened its restaurant at the site almost 15 years ago. "Alongside the interior, renovation was carried out on the facade, which now is made of dark wood," said Piotr Kleinszmidt, the general manager of the Pizza Hut-Gruba Ka¶ka restaurant. "The kitchen too has been renovated and rearranged. We expect that the renovation at our restaurant will result in 10 percent more guests."
