She's famous for being outspoken verging on vulgar, blonde, busty and always in the headlines. Not many can match her precisely tuned radar for publicity and her intuitive grasp of what makes for populist appeal. Dorota Rabczewska, more commonly known as Doda, will play Nov. 8 at Warsaw's Kongresowa Hall.

In 1998-2007, Doda was the vocalist of Polish pop band Virgin, after which she started a solo career. She recently appeared in a black comedy entitled Serce na dłoni directed by legendary Polish director Krzysztof Zanussi. In June, Doda won the Artist of the Year prize at the Polish Song Festival in Opole. In July, she was chosen the "Queen" of CKM magazine for men on the magazine's 10th anniversary.

Doda is preparing to record an album in English, hoping to conquer markets abroad.
