Early Music at Royal Castle

The 18th Festival of Early Music started in Warsaw Nov. 8. Organized since 1991, the festival features medieval, renaissance and baroque music performed on period instruments.

Fifteen ensembles were invited to participate this year. The festival is organized by the Warsaw chapter of the Polish Association of Early Music and the Royal Castle in Warsaw. Concerts take place Saturdays and Sundays at the Royal Castle and in other historic buildings in Warsaw such as the Evangelical Church. The festival will last until Dec. 7.
