Construction has begun on Crown Square, a new office building by Ghelamco Poland that, together with the existing Crown Point and Crown Tower buildings, will form the Crown Investment complex located near Daszyńskiego traffic circle in Warsaw.

Work began shortly after a construction permit was granted. This is the latest A-class project in Warsaw being carried out by Ghelamco. The complex's two existing buildings were completed in 2004. Crown Square will offer 17,000 sq m of space on 13 stories above ground, in addition to three underground levels with 227 parking spaces. The building's location ensures easy access both by car and municipal transportation. The Crown Square building was designed by Ludwik Konior's architectural studio. Part of the building will offer service and retail premises. The ground floor will be home to restaurants, a newsstand and a grocery store. Completion, including an inner patio, is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2009.

Apart from Crown Square and the other Crown Investment buildings, Ghelamco has built such projects in Warsaw as Prosta Office Center, Zaułek Piękna, Trinity I and II, and the Marynarska Business Park, which was completed in April.

Ghelamco Poland is one of the largest companies on the Polish real estate market, operating here for 17 years.
