Polish developer Abitania Oct. 15 held a panel discussion at the Warsaw headquarters of the Polish Business Roundtable Club dedicated to Poland's real estate market. The main question asked during the debate was whether the market is facing a crisis. The debate marked the launch of a new series of events to be held by the developer under the name Abitania Academy.

The Abitania Academy project is designed to provide a venue for discussion of topics related to the Polish real estate market, architecture, lifestyle and design trends.

The Oct. 15 meeting, led by Robert Gwiazdowski, head of the Adam Smith Center in Poland, an economic think tank, focused on the latest trends on the Polish real estate market. Participants also included Bolesław Meluch from the Association of Polish Banks (ZBP), Marcin Grodzki from the Polish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce, and Łukasz Madej from real-estate advisory firm Pro Development.

Abitania plans to invite economic and financial experts, real estate specialists, architects and interior designers to participate in future panel discussions and workshops.
