Documentary, fiction, animation and experimental film-these are the competition categories in the Euroshorts festival taking place in Warsaw's Kino-Lab cinema Nov. 26-30. Euroshorts, organized by the Young Cinema Foundation, is the only festival in europe to show both non-commercial shorts and ambitious commercials.

Over five days, 65 films from 18 countries will be on show as well as the famous AICP Show 2008, an hour-long reel compiled each year by the association of Independent commercial producers and part of New York's museum of Modern Art's permanent collection. It features the most ambitious American commercials during the last year directed by the likes of Rupert Sanders, Nicolai Fuglsig, Dante Ariola and Sam Mendes.

The films will be competing for the main zl.4,000 prize. There will also be a competition for the most promising young film-maker, and a contest open to visitors for a short film screenplay based in Warsaw (deadline Nov. 26).
