The Roots, an award-winning hip-hop act from Philadelphia, will play at Warsaw's Arena Ursynów Hall Nov. 28.

The Roots draw on jazz, funk and rock sounds. They have collaborated with artists such as Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Mos Def and Rahzel. Their latest songs can be seen a social commentary on the current political situation in the United States. All of the band are also members of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), an organization promoting animal rights and a vegetarian lifestyle.

The Roots achieved worldwide success with tracks like "The Seed" and "You Got Me" with Erykah Badu and Eve that was awarded a Grammy in 2000.
