Georgian History in Dance and Song

The Sukhishvili Georgian State Dance Company is the largest show in the history of Georgia. The ensemble of almost 100 dancers, singers and musicians will give a concert at the Kongresowa Hall in Warsaw Dec. 1.

The show portrays the struggle, suffering and history of the Georgian nation. The Sukhishvili troupe dances with sabers and daggers, performs traditional women's dance routines and wedding songs, all to Georgian folk music played on traditional instruments.
