Motorists dawdle to show ire at rising fuel costs
Several dozen motorists Monday drove past government offices in central Warsaw in slow motion, in a protest calling for the authorities to lower petrol prices.
In other parts of Poland, motorists dawdled while filling up at petrol stations in protests at rising fuel costs.
Organizers of the Warsaw drive-past said that another protest would take place on Saturday. If that did not spur the government to act, further protests would be held, this time on a larger scale, the organizers warned.
