Industrial Design Exhibit

Article's tools:

Warsaw's Institute of Industrial Design is hosting the First Exhibition of Global Design Experience, held as part of a project entitled Design Your Profit. The exhibition, open through Feb. 2, features designs by Yves Behar, one of the most intriguing contemporary designers whose works include the famous XO laptop ("One Laptop Per Child").

The exhibition showcases a Creative Family Calendar with works by 12 Polish industrial designers, including Tomasz Augustyniak and Oskar Zięta, and fashion and jewelry designers, such as Gosia Baczyńska and Marcin Giebułtowski.

The illustrations in the calendar form a coloring book that enables children to finish the designs themselves using drawing and painting utensils available on the spot.
