Central bank chief expects GDP to grow at least 3%
Central bank governor Marek Belka said Wednesday he expects the Polish economy to grow at least 3% this year, adding that Poland could escape any "notable" slowdown.
"We may slow to 3%, but no lower," Belka said in an interview for the TVN CNBC station.
Noting that expectations for a possible slowdown have shifted from H2 2011 to H1 2012 and now to H2 2012, Belka said: "If all goes well, the slowdown generally won't arrive in any notable way.”
