The Time Art Association is holding its eighth Nativity Play With a Star in Polish Radio Three's Agnieszka Osiecka Studio Feb. 11 at 5 p.m. The event is held every year in aid of 300 children from some of Poland's poorest families. The children have a special treat in store this year when vocalist Dorota Mi¶kiewicz sings for them and famous caricaturist and illustrator Edward Lutczyn conducts drawing sessions with them.

The program, hosted by Artur Andrus, will feature nativity plays by a theatrical troupe from Warsaw's High and Technical School Complex no. 1 under the direction of Aneta Maciejczyk as well as a performance from the children's singing and dancing group Fasolinki. They will be singing songs from their latest recording Historia o prawdziwyn Mikołaju (The Story of the Real Santa Claus). All this in addition to lots of competitions with prizes to be won and no one will be leaving without a little something from Santa.

Previous years have seen performances by the likes of Ewa Bem, Anna Maria Jopek, the Steczkowski Family, Edyta Górniak and Natalia Kukulska. All the artists who appear do so free of charge.

The Nativity Play with a Star is the brainchild of the main organizer, Artur Wolski. Zofia Sylwin organizes the program from the Polish Radio Three end.
