Parisian electro-swing outfit Caravan Palace will be playing at Warsaw's Fabryka Trzciny Feb. 8.

Caravan Palace seek to reinvent swing and electronic music while experimenting with collages of historical French speeches and other electronic samples. The band's calling cards are its lineup of violins, guitars, bass, clarinet and electronic sampling and its powerful, pulsating rhythms, light beats and catchy tunes.

Caravan Palace was originally a collaboration of three electronic music composers who came together through their passion for Gypsy jazz. They began preparing to release their first, self-titled album of experimental electro-swing and Gypsy jazz fusion in February 2005. The album was released on the French indie Wagram label in October 2008.
