Marillion, one of the most influential bands in the history of rock music, will play three concerts in Poland. They will play Wisła Arena in Cracow Feb. 9, Stodoła club in Warsaw Feb. 10 and Stocznia Center in Gdańsk Feb. 11.

Marillion have been touring and recording without interruption for over 25 years. After their tour promoting their Somewhere Else album in 2007, which was a sold out success in Poland, Marillion will now tour with their latest work released last year, Happiness Is The Road.

Marillion's music can be viewed from two separate perspectives, before 1989, when vocalist Mark Fish decided to leave, and the current ongoing lineup with Steve Hogarth. More than enough has already been said about the relative achievements of each period, and the merits of each vocalist's influence on Marillion's style and sound. One thing is certain, even if they somehow are two different bands, stylistically and musically, their live performances are always great rock events, linked since the beginning by guitarist Steve Rothery.
