Chopin Chamber Concert

The chamber works of Frédéric Chopin will be performed at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw March 1, to commemorate the 199th anniversary of the birth of Poland's greatest composer.

Violinist Jakub Jakowicz, cellist Andrzej Bauer and pianist Jan Krzysztof Broja will be playing three works Chopin wrote while a young man living in Warsaw, as well as his last sonata for cello and piano, dedicated to the celebrated French cellist Auguste Franchomme.

The concert is part of preparations to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Chopin around the world next year.
