A Polish soldier in Afghanistan was killed Feb. 10 in a car accident that left four other troops injured.

Chief warrant officer Andrzej Rozmiarek was traveling in a Polish convoy on its way to base. It was carrying soldiers who had completed a mission in the city of Ghazni. When a bus full of passengers suddenly came in the way of the Humvee Rozmiarek was in, the driver veered to avoid a collision, but the vehicle rolled over a number of times. The accident is being investigated by military police and a military prosecutor.
