Engineering Job Fair
March 4, 2009
Article's tools:

An event billed as the 16th Engineering Job Fair will take place at the Warsaw University of Technology March 24-25.

The event, organized by a non-profit organization known as the Board of European Students of Technology (BEST), is expected to attract thousands of students and more than 70 employers from sectors such as telecommunications, civil engineering, finance, consulting, and information technology.

The event gives employers an opportunity to showcase career options to students from the country's best technical universities, including the Warsaw University of Technology, the Military University of Technology, and the Polish Japanese Institute of Information Technology.

During the two-day event students will be able to find a job and obtain information about employers, their preferences, and methods of recruitment.

Students can also expect to improve their CV writing skills at the fair and learn how to make a good impression during a job interview.

The Engineering Job Fair is increasingly popular with employers. Last year more than 80 Polish and international companies participated in the project. Their stands were visited by thousands of students.

This year there will be many competitions and workshops with attractive prizes.

This year's fair is supported by the Opera Software and IT Connect companies.
