British jazz/hip-hop band Us3, which has a strong fan base in Poland, will play at Warsaw's Palladium Club April 18.

The band, formed in 1991 in London, has paid regular visits to Warsaw over the past several years. It consists of eight musicians with Geoff Wilkinson at the helm.

The musicians use classic samples from songs released on the Blue Note Records label. Their signature track is "Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)," which samples "Cantaloupe Island," a song by Herbie Hancock.

The music of Us3 is a mixture of jazz vibes and hip-hop, in addition to hot Brazilian samba and soul. The end of March saw the release of their latest album entitled stop. think. run.
