Clothing Companies at Galeria Jurajska
H&M, C&A, Cubus and Benetton clothing companies have leased space at the Galeria Jurajska shopping and entertainment center in Częstochowa.

The mall, developed by the Globe Trade Center company, is scheduled to open this October. So far, tenants have signed up for 90 percent of the 49,000 sq m of retail space available.

H&M is a network of over 1,700 stores in 34 countries, offering men’s, women’s and children’s wear. The H&M store at Galeria Jurajska occupies over 1,800 sq m. The C&A store at the mall is the company’s first in Częstochowa. It will occupy over 1,800 sq m on two levels. Cubus, one of the most popular Scandinavian clothing brands, has leased 680 sq m. Italian clothes company Benetton will have a 125-sq-m store.

Metropol Dom i Wnętrze Under Construction
A new retail and exhibition center in Warsaw called Metropol Dom i Wnętrze is scheduled to open this fall. The center, at 82 Jagiellońska St., will house interior decoration and furnishing companies and will offer a total of 21,000 sq m of space for rent once completed. The investor, Jagiellońska Centrum Logistyczne, is part of the Metropol Group. King Sturge is handling space lease.

More Tenants for Galeria Sanowa
The Galeria Sanowa mall under construction in Przemy¶l, southeastern Poland, near the Ukrainian border, has attracted new tenants: Orsay, Ryłko, Quazi, Yes, 5.10.15, Wojas and Vision Express. The investor and developer, San Development, is a company established specially to build the mall. It is a consortium of PA Nova SA and Beef SAN SA.

Galeria Sanowa will have more than 100 stores and service outlets on 31,000 sq m of space for rent. The mall is scheduled for completion in September 2010.

New Mall for Opole Province
Construction of the Odrzańskie Ogrody shopping mall in Kędzierzyn-KoĽle, the second biggest city in southern Opole province, is due to start this summer. The mall will be located between Armii Krajowej and Kozielska streets. It will include some 100 stores and have a total area of 30,000 sq m. So far, 40 percent of retail space has been leased out, most recently to clothing company H&M.

The project is to be completed in 2011. P.A. Nova is the investor and real estate advisors Cushman & Wakefield are responsible for finding tenants.
