Twenty-nine eastern and southeastern European art galleries have registered to take part in the fifth ViennaFair due to take place May 7-10 at the Messe Wien exhibition complex in Vienna, Austria.

“Despite the current economic situation, the ViennaFair continues to be a success story,” said Matthias Limbeck, CEO for New Business, Marketing & CEE at Reed Exhibitions Messe Wien. “Placing the focus on art galleries in eastern and southeastern Europe, the ViennaFair has established its own unique status within the international art fair scene.”

As in previous years, Poland will be strongly represented at this year’s event. Galleries such as lokal_30, Czarna and Program have already been seen at earlier shows and have now been joined by exhibitors including Pies, Heppen, Leto, Simonis and Zak Branicka. www.viennafair.at
