Barto Plays Beethoven

American pianist Tzimon Barto will perform at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw May 15, playing Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto. The concert evening will be conducted by Jerzy Semkow. Apart from beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat major Op. 73, the concert will feature Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 2 in E-minor Op. 27.

Semkow works with many leading orchestras around the world, including the London Philharmonic, Berliner Philharmoniker, Wiener Symphoniker, Israel Philharmonic, Orchestre National de France, Orchestre de Paris, and the Orchestra di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
