Po-Lin, a documentary about Polish and Jewish culture in Poland before World War II, won the Grand Prix award at the sixth international Jewish Motifs film festival. Director Jolanta Dylewska received a $9,000 cash prize.

The festival was held in Warsaw's Muranów cinema April 28 to May 3. Viewers were able to take in 46 feature and documentary films on Jewish themes from 15 countries. The event focused on the Jewish nation, its tradition, identity and history, both past and present. The festival is both a review and a competition with categories for documentaries, features, animated, experimental and short films.
