Two students of the Architecture Department of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice won the international Trimo Urban Crash competition for students of architecture in April.

Alicja Choła and Jan Ledwoń designed a music stage incorporated into urban space, featuring an unusual, sculpture-like form.

The international competition was held for the second time by Trimo, a company that designs, produces and assembles prefabricated buildings. The competition seeks to spot outstanding talent among future architects and enable them to "creatively impact urban space."

This year, the students were requested to design an innovative urban installation for public use. Trainee architects who took part in this year's competition hailed from 17 countries and submitted a total of 147 designs.
