An outdoor art exhibition called Coexistence that focuses on themes of diversity and tolerance opened May 7 on Zamkowy Square in Warsaw.

The exhibition, which has traveled the world since 2001, includes posters on the theme of the coexistence of the world's three major monotheistic religions-Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The 54 posters were created by 42 artists from 19 countries, including Yoko Ono, widow of Beatles legend John Lennon, and Poles Andrzej P±gowski and Piotr Młodożeniec.

Each image is accompanied by an explanation in four languages, with quotes from great thinkers, philosophers, writers and artists.

The exhibition, the idea of the Museum on the Seam in Jerusalem, has so far traveled to 24 cites across the world, including Barcelona, Sarajevo, Vienna, Miami, Amsterdam, washington, D.C., Buenos Aires and St. Petersburg. It is on display in Warsaw until June 5.
