Anybody who comes to Ustka is sure to come back here again and again every year. This seaside town is a picturesque health resort and a perfect holiday destination for entire families as well as for enamored couples. Natural, sandy beaches, a coastal dune belt and leafy and coniferous forests all contribute to the soothing and invigorating local microclimate.

Ustka has many picturesque bicycle trails that allow you to take in the beauty of the town and its surroundings. In spring and summer, Ustka is vibrant with numerous concerts by Polish and foreign music acts, beach ball tournaments, a fireworks display of nationwide renown and a number of events on themes related to the sea. The port in Ustka, one of the largest and most beautiful in Poland, is where amateur fishermen can embark on open-sea fishing expeditions and tourists can board a ferry to the Danish isle of Bornholm or take a ride on a sightseeing tourist ship that looks as if it has sailed out of the pages of a story about buccaneers.

Polish golden autumns and snowy winters, in turn, are a time when Ustka turns into an ideal place to relax in the rays of the setting sun as you listen to the cries of seagulls and swans.

The unique local folklore and numerous historic buildings add another dimension to Ustka, introducing tourists to the fascinating world of historical intrigues and the culture of the ancient Pomeranians. First-time visitors remember Ustka with fondness and so they return here to relive the experience of pine-scented beaches.

Another big Ustka attraction is the local legend of a mermaid named Bryzga Rosowa, known for her extraordinary beauty, heavenly voice and kind heart. The mermaid is immortalized in the Ustka municipal coat of arms.
