A total of 5,600 photographers from 124 countries took part in this year's contest. The jury examined more than 96,000 photographs, awarding prizes to 64 entrants from 24 countries. The Polish winners are: Justyna Mielnikiewicz, 2nd prize in the People in the News category; Wojciech Grz璠zi雟ki, 3rd prize in the Spot News section; Tomasz Wiech, 3rd prize in the Daily Life category; Tomasz Gudzowaty, 3rd prize in the Sports Features section; and Kacper Kowalski, 2nd prize in the Arts and Entertainment section.
