Flogging Molly, an American band inspired by the culture and folklore of Ireland, will play June 9 at Warsaw's Progresja club.

The band was formed in 1997, taking its name from Molly Malone's, an Irish pub in Los Angeles. Their music is heavily influenced by classic pieces by The Pogues and The Dubliners with a touch of The Clash. The band's album Within A Mile of Home was dedicated to the memory of the legendary Joe Strummer. Flogging Molly released their debut album, Alive Behind the Green Door, in 1997. It was recorded live at Molly Malone's. They have also released four studio albums, including Swagger (2000), Drunken Lullabies (2002), Within a Mile of Home (2004), and Float (2008).
