Learning to Deal With a Crisis

Brian Tracy, one of America's leading authorities on the development of human potential and personal effectiveness, came to Warsaw June 3 to advise businesspeople how they can achieve their personal and professional goals at a time of crisis.

Tracy visited Poland to attend a one-day seminar at the Marriott Hotel entitled Crunch Time-Efficient Action Strategies in Crisis Situations.

An adviser and personal consultant to some of the world's best known business executives, Tracy briefed seminar participants on methods they can use to achieve management effectiveness and efficiency in this era of tight budgets and slowing markets.

Tracy argued that if one approaches a crisis as a regular thing that occurs everywhere and treats it as a challenge, one will be able to continue prospering on the market, while also using the crunch time to strengthen their position within the company, gain an advantage over the competition, develop their skills and qualifications, and focus on priorities.

All that requires specific personal skills, Tracy said. He spoke at length about how one can learn to control one's emotions and meet challenges, and how they can become more effective and thus have more free time. He also talked about ways of planning one's professional and personal life and about ways of coping with stress.

Seminar participants also learned about how they can influence their motivation and that of their co-workers, how can they achieve the best possible results in crisis situations, and how they can boost their odds for success through self-discipline.

Tracy is one of the most influential business leaders in the world. His company Brian Tracy International trains more than 250,000 employees annually at both small and large companies. He tries to inspire his listeners to promptly apply the newly acquired techniques and methods in practice.

Tracy has written 42 books that have been translated into 35 languages. He has also authored more than 350 training courses in management, sales and personal development.
