The 19th International Malta Theater Festival will be held June 23-27 in Poznań, celebrating a wide variety of performing arts from theater and dance to music and film. This year, the festival will comprise 65 events, including theatrical and dance performances, street shows, concerts, lectures, workshops and exhibitions.

Among the attractions are a concert by industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails (June 26), and the play Maria de Buenos Aires, directed by Małgorzata Dziewulska with music by Astor Piazzolla (June 24-26). As a sort of a postscript to the festival, rock group Jane's Addiction will give a concert July 8, supported by Peaches, one of the most original and controversial female artists on the alternative music scene.
