Andel's Hotel in £ód¼ Opens
The four-star Andel's Hotel in £ód¼, built by Warimpex, was opened officially on June 15. This is the fourth hotel in the Andel's chain, after Prague, Cracow and Berlin. The £ód¼ hotel is the result of a redevelopment and conversion project involving a monumental factory from 1878.
It took Warimpex, of which Andels £ód¼ Sp. z o.o. is a part, two and a half years to complete renovation work in the former spinning mill built by industrialist Izrael Poznański in 1878, turning the historic building into a four-star hotel. The hotel operator is Vienna International Hotelmanagement AG.
Behind the brick facade are 278 standard rooms and suites, seven conference rooms as well as a 1,300-sq-m ballroom with a glass roof. The premises are also home to a fitness club occupying 1,200 sq m and a wellness/spa center with a glass-roofed swimming pool on the building's roof as well as a restaurant for 340 people. The underground garage accommodates 156 cars.
