Hotel Investment Conference
The Hotel Investment in Poland conference held on June 2 at the InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw was organized by Eurobuild Magazine.

Poland never experienced a boom in the hotel sector. Investors were usually cautious about investing in hotels. The result is that this country is still lagging behind the leaders in the rest of Central and Eastern Europe. The conference looked for answers about whether hotel investment will turn out to be a safety solution for these turbulent times or will Poland remain behind in terms of hotel development.

The Warsaw Destination Alliance was patron of the conference and its president Alex Kloszewski, who is also partner & head of hospitality department at Colliers International Polska, was moderator of a discussion entitled "Luxury vs. modesty. Top-shelf hotels or economy/budget facilities-which investments are safer and guarantee the biggest returns? Analysis of demand from business travelers and tourists in Poland. What will the next few years bring?"

He was joined by the following experts: Christian Fojtl, Chief Operating Officer, Warimpex AG; Michał Ku¶, Director, Aedas Architects; Guy Lanfray, President Horwath HTL; Marek D±browski, Managing Director, Hotel Atrium, Vice President of Chamber of Commerce of the Polish Hotel Industry.
