Warsaw's Studio Buffo Theater is now showing an acclaimed Broadway play entitled Boeing-Boeing.

This situation comedy by French playwright Marc Camoletti made it into the Guinness Book of Records in 1991 with a record number of shows worldwide: 17,500 in 55 countries. In 2008, it won the prestigious Tony Award, an equivalent of the Academy Award in the U.S. theater industry.

The comedy, written in 1961 and originally set in Paris, tells the story of a man whose love life is regulated by international flight schedules. The main character, called Maks in the Polish version of the play, has three fiancées; all of them are flight attendants. Each woman thinks she is the only one. Thanks to careful planning, Maks is able to make his romantic schedule run smoothly. Until one day...

The Polish version of Boeing-Boeing, directed by Gabriel Gietzky, features Rafał Królikowski, Szymon Bobrowski, Magdalena Boczarska, Olga Boł±dĽ, Dominika Figurska, and Cezary Kosiński.
