Soulful Sound of Alice Russell

Renowned soul vocalist Alice Russell will perform July 17 at the Fabryka Trzciny club in Warsaw. Her music is described as a fusion of genres from pop and soul to hip-hop and jazz. She lists Eva Cassidy, Aretha Franklin, Minnie Ripperton, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan and Jill Scott among her inspirations. Some compare her to Duffy, Adele and Amy Winehouse. She has released four studio albums, in addition to a live album from her concert in Paris.

Russell has already performed in Warsaw. She took part in a concert held to celebrate the completion of the first metro line in the city in October 2008
