Two days before the 65th anniversary of D-Day, the historic Polish destroyer ORP B造skawica returned June 4 to harbor near Ko軼iuszki Square in Gdynia. The ship spent several months undergoing an overhaul in the naval harbor in Gdynia-Oksywie. The overhaul restored the camouflaged appearance that the B造skawica had in 1944, when the ship took part in the Allied landings in Normandy, France.

The historic museum ship has been reopened to the public with revamped exhibitions as wells as items and memorabilia which have never been shown before. On the 70th anniversary of the start of World War II, a special exhibition will be opened to highlight the achievements of the Polish Navy during World War II.
