Warsaw will receive zl.168 million from the European Union's Cohesion Fund to modernize the intersection of Jerozolimskie Avenue and Łopuszańska Street. The money will pay for 85 percent of the total cost of the design, construction works and land. There is every indication that in 2007-2013 Warsaw will receive over zl.830 million for road projects. The largest portion of the money, zl.241 million, will go towards the construction of Północny Bridge.

The project to modernize Jerozolimskie Avenue has to be completed by 2015. Otherwise, the city will not receive the EU money. For the time being, problems with the purchase of land have stalled the project.
