The Newton Media company has secured a new deal from the President's Office for the round-the-clock monitoring of 71 newspapers, 12 television stations, 14 radio stations, 16 websites and two large agencies for information about President Lech Kaczyński, his wife, advisers, and officials from the President's Office and the National Security Office. The president also wants to receive daily media monitoring reports with information about 10 political parties. The monitoring program may be expanded to include other issues associated with the president's activities, the President's Office said. The office wants every media publication to be assessed from the point of view of its attitude-negative, positive or neutral.

This is not the first media monitoring deal between the President's Office and Newton Media. Over the past 12 months the company has monitored the media for information about the work of the president and his office, social and political affairs and the activities of political parties. Additionally, in June, the company landed a contract to provide information associated with national security.
