TJX Europe to Open Stores in Poland

As it embarks on an expansion drive across Europe, discount fashion retailer TJX Europe plans to open four TK Maxx stores in Poland this fall. The outlets will be launched in Czelad¼ near Katowice, Bielsko-Bia³a, Wroc³aw and Poznań.

The company plans to open a total of 35 stores across Europe by the end of this year, as well as a new distribution center in the southwestern city of Wroc³aw.

TJX Europe, based in Watford, Britain, is the European arm of U.S. discount giant TJX Companies, Inc., which operates 882 T.J. Maxx stores in the United States. In Europe, there are 238 T.J. Maxx outlets at the moment.
