Papa Roach was formed in 1993 and hails from Vacaville, California. Its founders were vocalist Jacoby Shaddix and (now former) drummer Dave Buckner; it's rumored they first met at a football game. They had such fun talking about music that they decided to set up a band. Papa Roach will appear for the first time in Poland Sept. 27 at the Stodoła club.

The band recorded its debut album, Old Friends from Young Years, in 1997. They have supported the likes of Incubus, Everlast and Fear Factory. They won international fame with their next CD, Infest, released in 2000, and containing the group's most famous single, "Last Resort."

Subsequent albums, LoveHateTragedy (2002), Getting Away With Murder (2004) and The Paramour Sessions (2006) boosted Papa Roach's hard rock reputation. A concert DVD called Live and Murderous in Chicago was released in 2005. In total Papa Roach have sold over 10 million records all over the world.

The present concert tour is promoting Papa Roach's latest release from March, Metamorphosis.
