Modern, colorful, bright and spacious, but above all furnished with an individual touch: this, in a nutshell, will describe homes next year according to Danish home furnishings retailer BoConcept.

No barriers of place, time and space, and no limits to colors, patterns and styles. This is the message of BoConcept's 2009/2010 collection, which was unveiled in the company's Warsaw showroom Sept. 17.

The designers have given free rein to their imagination and ethnic inspirations. The result are stunning color combinations, original patterns, fine silks and plain patchworks.

BoConcept has some fascinating ideas for furniture and accessories. Its new collection consists of three styles: Mania Mix, Delicate Detail, and Pure Pole, each addressing a different customer.

Energetic mix
Mania Mix is energetic, wild, spontaneous and optimistic. It targets the youngest customers of BoConcept showrooms. The style features electrifying colors, cool metallic surfaces and amusing details. The basic color pattern includes white, black, gray, ocher, raspberry and purple. They are accompanied by an optimistic mix of neon and bottle greens, orange, red and pink. Stripes and graphic patterns have an important role to play. Mania Mix furniture and accessories are bound to catch the eye of those who like energizing colors and unusual combinations.

Intellectual's refuge
Delicate Detail features exclusive, quality materials, carefully selected colors and fine details. BoConcept encourages customers to live with class and surround themselves with good taste and a feel of luxury. A spectrum of grays, blacks and whites overlaps with shades of brown. The color gray stays in the background to gain a new dimension from ocher, purple and raspberry accents. A Delicate Detail-style room will be a refuge for the intellectual. Long bookshelves, a comfortable, beautiful armchair and an excellent lamp make for a perfect place for relaxation. Patterned fabrics and decorative vases add a touch of warmth to the monochromatic interior.

In harmony with nature
Pure Pole focuses on building an oasis of nature in your home. Wood, green and ethnic decorations dominate. The style's elegant, authentic and somewhat traditional interior has been designed as a peaceful haven for the whole family. Colors include gray, black and white with a drop of cactus green, shades of brown and aquatic blue. The furniture refers to the designs of the 1960s. Many Pure Pole decorations and accessories are handmade souvenirs from trips to exotic places. Traditional handicraft products, hand-woven carpets, pillows, bedspreads and covers from all corners of the globe bring to mind faraway lands, peoples and their cultures. The essence of the style is its authenticity and harmony with nature.

The new BoConcept collection ushers in new trends that make clubbing passé. There is no place like home, so make sure it is full of energy, luxury or nature: the choice is up to you. The new collection hit BoConcept showrooms Sept. 1, 2009.
