This year's Great Cavalry Review was held at the Stara Miłosna Hippodrome near Warsaw Sept. 12.

The Cavalry Squadron of the Polish Army gave a presentation of cavalry drill, and then two mounted "knights" fought a duel. The presentation finished with a drill from the Honor Guard of the Polish Army.

Trade and promotional stalls were open to visitors, as were historical displays and exhibitions of modern weaponry and military equipment and uniforms, and an exhibition dedicated to the tradition of the Fifth Mounted Rifle Regiment.

The Great Cavalry Review is part of the annual Land Forces Day celebrations and is jointly organized by the army and the Cavalry Squadron of the Republic of Poland Association
