Giants of jazz are coming to Warsaw to play a concert Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. at the Torwar arena. Marcus Miller will perform Tutu Revisited-The Music of Miles Davis, on which he has teamed up with young American trumpeter Christian Scott. The night at Torwar will also feature Wayne Shorter with his quartet (Brian Blade, John Patitucci and Danilo Perez) and Jimmy Cobb, who will perform a show called Kind of Blue @ 50.

The jazz night, entitled Tribute 2 Miles, is a joint performance by stars of world jazz who will pay tribute to Miles Davis. The event will comprise three concerts and three extraordinary music projects referring to different periods in the life and work of Davis, all of which were of key importance to the history of jazz.
