Article's tools:

Poland is one of the few countries coping well with the global financial crisis. It will probably also be the only European Union country whose economy will grow this year. Warsaw is considered one of the most attractive business locations in Europe. The Warsaw Stock Exchange in many respects is the region's largest market.

Whether Warsaw as the capital of the fastest-developing country in Europe stands a chance of becoming the financial hub of Central and Eastern Europe will be the topic discussed at the Warsaw-CEE Financial Hub conference on Nov. 26-27 organized by the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the International Herald Tribune and The Warsaw Voice. The meeting's official host is the mayor of Warsaw, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz.

The Warsaw-CEE Financial Hub conference, an international meeting of investors and issuers, entrepreneurs and economic experts interested in the markets of Central and Eastern Europe, will be an excellent opportunity to discuss the challenges faced by the Polish government, local governments and business leaders. Dealing with these challenges will secure Poland the place it deserves in Europe in economic terms.
