The Square, a branch of the Fabryka Trzciny Art Center, is staging a multimedia exhibition entitled Tradition and Modernity: 1919-2009 to tell the history of Poland's largest bank, PKO BP.

The latest technology is deployed to document the bank's 90 years of existence against a backdrop of Poland's modern history. The exhibition is interactive and the history of the bank has been subdivided into several parts-beginning with the prewar establishment of the Polish Savings Bank and the turbulent period of wartime occupation, through to the communist period and then during the political and economic changes that rocked the country in 1989 and the subsequent transformation of PKO BP into a modern commercial bank.
