Arts and Culture on Internet TV
December 2, 2009
Article's tools:

Fashion and culture website sophisti.pl launched its own internet television platform, Sophisti TV, Nov. 20, focusing on fashion, culture, art, cinema, music and photography.

The new station has a lifestyle feel to it. Viewers can see shows including Design na talerzu (Design on a Plate), an artistic cooking show, Czułe słówka (Terms of Endearment), a chat show that explores women's issues, Fashion Hairstyle, where the professionals give hairdressing tips, and Sophisti, which hosts expert panel discussions on fashion, culture and art.

Those who came up with the idea for the station managed to coax several big names to host their own programs. Singer Kasia Klich, journalist Joanna Racewicz, actor Katarzyna Zielińska and model Agnieszka Maci±g are among those who answered the call.

Sophisti TV is produced by Dorota Wróblewska's Media Sukces company. Wróblewska also owns the Forget Me Not fashion house and is the artistic director of sophisti.pl.

She has announced that six more regular shows will premiere early next year, including Super Model, an international modeling competition, Kulturalny Traffic (Cultural Traffic), a cultural roundup, and Modne miejsca (The Place to Be), which takes a look at interesting shops and haunts.
