Friend 'n Fellow

The German duet Friend 'n Fellow will be appearing in concert at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw Dec. 6. They will be drawing on their vast repertoire that takes in jazz, rock, soul and popular standards as well as promoting their latest album Lady.

Vocalist Constanze Friend, often billed as the new Josephine Baker, is a sure-fire crowd puller on the many celebrated bandstands that beckon around the world but feels most at home in the intimate settings of clubs and concert halls. Friend has an obvious tinge of Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and Cassandra Wilson about her, and the addition of guitar virtuoso Thomas Fellow has made Friend 'n Fellow a duet with an inimitable sound and a highly distinctive style.

The National Philharmonic concert coincides with St. Nicholas Day and would make a wonderful early Christmas present.
