Carol Concert by German School
An annual concert of Polish and German Christmas carols took place Dec. 10 at St. Anne's Church in the Wilanów district of Warsaw.
The concert, held in one of the capital's most beautiful churches, was performed by students of the Willy Brandt Polish-German School of Interaction and Dialogue (Deutsch-Polnische Begegnungsschule "Willy-Brandt-Schule") together with parents and friends of the school. The first such concert took place over a decade ago and the event has since become part of the tradition of the only Polish-German school in Warsaw. Eight years ago the concerts were opened to the general public.
This year's event featured Christmas carols from Poland and Germany alongside works by Bach, Chopin, Burgmüller and Telemann.
